I. What ages do you teach?

I teach students of all ages—from young children just starting out, to teenagers, to adults discovering or rediscovering music later in life.

II. Am I too old to learn?

Not at all. It’s never too late, and you’ve already taken your first step, which is often the hardest.

III. Do you teach beginners?

Yes. My teaching adapts to each student’s pace, and no prior experience is required.

IV. How much do lessons cost?

Lesson rates vary depending on length and frequency. We’ll discuss the details during your consultation and find something that suits your goals and schedule.

V. When can we start?

Right away. If all current spots are filled, you’ll be invited to join my waiting list. Either way, we begin with a conversation to ensure it’s the right path forward.

VI. How do online lessons work?

We meet on Zoom. I’ll guide you through setup to make sure everything runs smoothly from the start.

VII. What equipment do I need?

A piano or digital keyboard with weighted keys and a pedal, a steady internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.

VIII. How do payments work?

Lessons are paid at the beginning of each month. Preferred payment is via Venmo, but I also accept PayPal.

IX. How many lessons per week do you recommend?

One lesson per week creates the consistency needed for upward progress.

X. How much do I have to practice?

Beginners should aim for 10–20 minutes a day, which builds consistency and leads to real improvement. Intermediate and advanced students are encouraged to practice 30–60 minutes a day or more, depending on their current level and goals.

XI. Can you help me reach my musical goals?

Yes. During our consultation, we’ll talk about what you dream of doing with music. Even if you’re not sure what the big picture looks like, that’s okay too. Together, we’ll chart a path forward with clear, steady steps.

XII. What styles of music do you teach?

Primarily classical. But if you’re curious about other styles, we can explore them together.

XIII. Do you teach any other instruments?

I have training in classical guitar, up to RCM (Canada) Level 9. If there’s interest, we can discuss adding guitar lessons.

XIV. What is your cancellation policy?

Lessons can be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. Missed lessons are non-refundable.
